In response to a surge in volumes following the introduction of a new card in Australia, this large global bank conducted a review of its reconciliation processes and found that its existing solution could not scale sufficiently.

After conducting an appraisal of suitable vendor packages, PROactive™ was selected and went live within three months. PROactivenow reconciles all consumer finance transactions, including Visa, Mastercard, MPOS and PILS transactions. Manual intervention has been further significantly reduced by the capability to enrich transactional data in real-time.

Any exceptions are highlighted immediately and assigned to the relevant resolution teams. Better still, the bank is now in a position to expand its consumer finance business at very short notice, confident in the fact that its processes can scale comfortably to meet foreseeable needs.
